The other week I did my 1st ever 10k charity run. I was pretty impressed with myself I have to say. During the run I could feel my shoulder and leg starting to hurt. As I was running I did a few rounds of basic tapping (I’m not bothered if people see me) starting at the top of my head at each point saying, “this shoulder pain”, “this frustration” and “this worry about the pain” tuning in to each sensation and emotion whilst tapping etc. After only 2 or 3 rounds the pain was gone…..I could then fully enjoy the experience. I had accepted ‘what is’ and created both peace within my body and mind by letting go instead of continuing to resist. This just confirms to me that so much of our pain whether emotional or physical is absolutely exacerbated by our thoughts about it, like worrying and judgements……..Tap away the worry or frustration and you create space for the body to relax, heal and reset.
Sometimes, all it takes is a quick tap of just 1/ 2 mins to relieve physical pain, frustration and overwhelm, preventing these challenges from progressing and becoming worse. Many people simply forget to use tapping, don’t know what to say or don’t know where to tap, but it REALLY works guys and gals and I love sharing how to use this simple highly effective tool so you too can benefit too.
